    • “Drift Correction” and “Set pH Limits” menus now display only currently – authenticated pods;
    • Creation of downloadable pH data files is now much faster
    • Better email address validation.
  • Add-ons are available for connecting pH data outputs to other lab monitoring software tools including Boomerang.

Known Issues

  • 1 – minute Test Frequency BCSI recommends using the system with the 30 minute testing frequency for operational pH measurement over a 7 day period.  TrakPods must be updated to firmware version 01.01 in order to enable improvements to the drift corrections for 1 minute test frequencies.  Older TrakPod firmware versions results in a non-linear pH drift downwards due to the decay of the sensor from frequent fluorescent reading.
    • Resolution Use the Update Pod function and update firmware in TrakPod to v01.01 or later and edit drift correction terms as specified.
  • Intermittent TrakPod Connectivity. In cases where USB 2.0 connections are used a TrakPod can temporarily loose connectivity with the TrakStation resulting in inability to run pH tests or QC tests.
    • Resolution Contact BCSI support (support@safesens.com) if this is experienced often.  A USB 3.0 hub can be used to address this connectivity issue.

TrakStation (Version 1.0.6)

Updates

  • TrakPod firmware update process improved
  • Drift correction ranges expanded.
  • Add-ons are available for connecting pH data outputs to other lab monitoring software tools including Boomerang.

Known Issues

  • Test detail page only shows most recent 30 pH data points, all the collected data points are stored internally and can be downloaded at any point in time.
    • Resolution SOLVED in v1.0.7
